Memphis Ward arrives in Quincy, Montana, on the fifth worst day of her life. She needs a shower. She needs a snack. She needs some sanity. Because moving across the country with her newborn baby is by far the craziest thing she’s ever done.

But maybe it takes a little crazy to build a good life. If putting the past behind her requires a thousand miles and a new town, she’ll do it if it means a better future for her son. Even if it requires setting aside the glamour of her former life. Even if it requires working as a housekeeper at The Eloise Inn and living in an apartment above a garage.

It’s there, on the fifth worst day of her life, that she meets the handsomest man she’s ever laid eyes on. Knox Eden is a beautiful, sinful dream, a chef and her temporary landlord. With his sharp, stubbled jaw and tattooed arms, he’s raw and rugged and everything she’s never had—and never will. Because after the first worst day of her life, Memphis learned a good life requires giving up on her dreams too. And a man like Knox Eden will only ever be a dream.

Devney Perry - Juniper Hill Book Reviews

Loving the Eden series!I never really know what to say when I finish a new Devney Perry book. Her stories are the type that pull me into the world she creates, and I never want back out. Memphis was going through a rough time when she arrived in Quincy, Montana, and my heart went out to her right away. After everything she had been through back in New York, she was trying to start over with her baby and make a new, better life for them. Her confidence struggled throughout the book, but she kept on fighting. Knox was definitely put out with her living in his loft, and he wasn’t very happy about the screaming baby. But, he was kind and supportive of Memphis. He was always looking out for her when she was having a bad moment. I loved how things heated up and developed into more between these two. There was plenty of drama swirling around Memphis and her family and former life. This book had me reading nonstop and wanting more. I am loving this series and the Eden family..Score: 5/5

A Total Page TurnerJuniper Hill is the 2nd book in The Edens Series and with every book that Devney Perry writes it just keeps getting better and better! This story had it all, accidental pregnancy, forced proximity, single mom, sprinkled with a bit of suspense. Mix it all together and you have the perfect recipe for a complete page turner. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!.Score: 5/5

Sooooooo good! All. The. Stars. This book is hands down Devney Perry at her best. Honestly days after finishing I am still thinking about this story and the characters. If you’ve been following my reviews for awhile, you know that Ms. Perry is an absolute favorite of mine and I adore her books. But this story was different in a way that is hard to put into words-but I’m going to try. I am usually all about the hero and can go on and on about them but this time is different. Memphis, the heroine, was such a phenomenal character. I connected with her on such a level that I seriously have the biggest girl crush on her. Her strength is what I admired most about her. When she meets Knox, sparks literally flew off the pages. The connection between the two was electrifying. I couldn’t get enough! But Memphis has secrets that she keeps close and it could change everything for her… Juniper Hill is going to be one of my top reads this year and I know it’s only January. Everything about this book pulled me in and I never wanted the story to end. Ms. Perry did a fabulous job with it and I am so excited to see where she takes the series next! Highly recommend reading it!.Score: 5/5

Finished the book already! What a great story! Knox caring for Drake was so sweet… he was definitely Drake’s father from day 1. Looking forward to the next book in the series..Score: 5/5

My New Favorite!Juniper Hill has cemented for me that The Edens is my new favorite series by Devney Perry! I felt the chemistry between Memphis and Knox the instant they met. The gravitational pull. The destiny. The author let us know this was inevitable, but as readers, we just weren't sure of the journey. Memphis arrives in Quincy, Montana frazzled and with a baby in tow. Leaving her world of privilege and wealth behind, she ends up in Knox's loft temporarily as she takes a job at his family's hotel as a housekeeper. Knox, the hotel's chef, doesn't want anything to do with a woman who is in Quincy to stay and certainly less to do with a woman who has a baby. His heart wouldn't survive it. With every phone call Memphis gets from home her confidence to make it on her own gets chipped away. With every day that passes and every night that Drake's cries are heard, Knox's resolve to stay away from them dissolves. Which will crumble faster? Will Memphis' parents convince her to come back home before the Edens convince her to stay? Will Knox's Ex run it all? This story is a wonderful journey! Quincy, Montana has become my favorite destination!.Score: 5/5

Beauty and strengthThis book, let’s just start out saying I was late for work one morning because I absolutely could not put it down! The emotions were so beautifully written and the characters could do nothing but grab your heart. Such strength, fire, and suspense that tears at your heart, this is one of Devney Perry’s best writing yet!.Score: 5/5

Small Town Romance ❤️Devney Penny’s Juniper Hill brings us back to Quincy Montana. A small town where the Eden family is royalty and loved. Book 2 is Knox’s story and from the moment Memphis arrives on his property, you can feel the chemistry. While book 1 was filled with suspense and a mystery to solve and while book 2 has some mystery in the form of who exactly Memphis Ward is, the focus stays on her and Knox and their growing relationship. One of the things I love about Devney’s female characters is that she writes strong women. Memphis has been through a lot of changes in her life and things are far from easy for her right now - she’s a single mom living in a brand new place and her current landlord is less than pleased to be sharing his extra space. But she’s not easily deterred and she pushes through her challenges to build a life for her child and break through Knox’s walls. And Knox, though he comes off as closed off and definitely grumpy, and he has his reasons, he also has a heart of gold that will have you falling in love in no time!.Score: 4/5

All the Best DaysThis second visit to Quincy, Montana, proves that author Devney Perry, writing as Willa Nash, cannot write a book that I do not love. From the first page of JUNIPER HILL to the very last, Memphis, Knox, and the rest of the Eden family drew me in and did not let go. Both Knox's and Memphis's backstories are heartbreaking, the difference being that Knox has his home and his family to help him pick up the pieces. The beauty of Quincy and the Edens is that they offer the very same to Memphis, exemplifying the truth that chosen family is just as strong and loving as the ones that we come from. Devney manages to infuse her usual perfect blend of intrigue, suspense, passion, and love into JUNIPER HILL, making for a story both infinitely readable and enjoyable. I couldn't get enough of Memphis, Knox, and the rest of the Edens, and I cannot wait to get Talia's story in GARNET FLATS. If you haven't visited Quincy, or read Devney's books, you must, because you will become an immediate and lifelong fan. ❤️.Score: 5/5

Great story!Juniper Hill brings us back to Quincy Montana with Knox Eden and single mother Memphis Ward.. who is also a new employee. Memphis accepts a job at The Eloise and drives across country with her baby for a new start. Knox reluctantly agrees to allow Memphis to rent an apartment on his property and the chemistry between them can be felt from the first meeting. I fell right into this book although at one point I did want to put it in the freezer! Let me explain, after everything they had both been through I was happy to see things workout and I didn’t want the coming struggle or plot twist for them. I just wanted to suspend the moment and allow them to remain happy. But the book did not go in the freezer and Devney thankfully did not draw it out. I completely enjoyed this book and cannot wait for the one in the series..Score: 4/5

A must readOne of the best books I’ve read! I love every Devney Perry book, they never disappoint. They just keep getting better and better. The characters and the emotions will have you falling for Memphis and Knox. Their story will take hold and not let you go until the end…but you will still want more. Thank goodness we will be getting more books in this series because that means updates on this family!.Score: 5/5

Grump and SunshineDevney Perry is a masterful storyteller! Each story is unique and has its own flavor. Memphis arrives in Quincy from New York City with her crying 8 week old baby boy, Drake, in tow. This socialite turned housekeeper has a lot to learn about motherhood and how she sees her future. Knox is a culinary genius and an Eden who gets roped into providing housing by his sister, Eloise. I love this family the more I spend time with them. Get ready for some interesting twists and some crazy, suspenseful moments as these two travel toward their happily ever after! I absolutely devoured this book and loved it to pieces! Come and spend time with the Edens and the little town of Quincy. You will not be sorry! 5 amazing stars.Score: 5/5

Real tears for this GORGEOUS book!I wish I could give this more than five stars. I’m a sucker for a single mom trope. Add in a broody, tattooed male WHO CAN COOK, and Slap a sign on me because I am SOLD. This book had everything you expect from Devney Perry. I loved every moment and know I will reread this one again and again. Memphis is so sweet and good and Knox is deliciously wonderful. I shed real tears at several points. I say this every time, but it’s never been more true, this is the best book Devney Perry has ever written. It will stay with me for many days..Score: 5/5

All the stars!Sometimes you can see how the story will unfold right from the beginning, but this was not one of those stories. I loved the unique backstories of both Memphis and Knox and their journey to their happily ever after was such a heartfelt one. There was plenty of angst, passion, tender moments and suspense to make this reader quite content. I can't wait to read the stories of all the Eden siblings..Score: 5/5
