THE INSTANT #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

Ten years after the high-profile kidnapping of two young boys, only one returns home in Harlan Coben’s gripping Myron Bolitar thriller.

A decade ago, kidnappers grabbed two boys from wealthy families and demanded ransom, then went silent. No trace of the boys ever surfaced. For ten years their families have been left with nothing but painful memories and a quiet desperation for the day that has finally, miraculously arrived: Myron Bolitar and his friend Win believe they have located one of the boys, now a teenager. Where has he been for ten years, and what does he know about the day, more than half a life ago, when he was taken? And most critically: What can he tell Myron and Win about the fate of his missing friend? Drawing on his singular talent, Harlan Coben delivers an explosive and deeply moving thriller about friendship, family, and the meaning of home.

Home - Harlan Coben Summary

A home, or domicile, is a living space used as a permanent or semi-permanent residence for an individual, family, household or several families in a tribe. It is often a house, apartment, or other building, or alternatively a mobile home, houseboat, yurt or any other portable shelter. A principle of constitutional law in many countries, related to the right to privacy enshrined in article 12 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is the inviolability of the home as an individual's place of shelter and refuge. Homes typically provide areas and facilities for sleeping, preparing food, eating and hygiene. Larger groups may live in a nursing home, children's home, convent or any similar institution. A homestead also includes agricultural land and facilities for domesticated animals. Where more secure dwellings are not available, people may live in the informal and sometimes illegal shacks found in slums and shanty towns. More generally, "home" may be considered to be a geographic area, such as a town, village, suburb, city, or country...

Loved it!5 star

This is like chick-lit, but written by a guy! Just the right amount of schmaltz, mixed in with eye rolls, and “take that PDA somewhere else” kinda stuff. And, the plot is spot on with a twist that, when it unfolds, I thought, “Duh, of course!” But, not until it was actually on the page in front of me. I WANT to be surprised like that. I like when the author is really, really talented and smooth. I highly recommend! 55

A Home Run5 star

I read this novel two times - the first quite by accident. The story and people and emotions touched my heart and my need for, well, just a good book. Then I went back and read all about Myron and Win, from their beginnings. Only then did I allow myself this second read. It is a gift to all of us who crave beauty and humor in life. 55

I just finished the last page and I'm legitimately in tears, for more reasons then one. Harlan Coben is an inspiration and does it once again! Fast paced, thrilling with a dash of comedic humor and romance this is Coben at his very best. Even if your not familiar with the Myron Boltiar series this book will still have you on the edge of your seat. A MUST READ!!! 55
