From New York Times Bestseller, Corinne Michaels, comes a new second chance standalone romance.
I spent twenty years waiting for Trent Hennington to open his eyes and see me. But it was all for nothing. He chose to keep himself guarded and let me walk away, proving that my time and efforts were wasted.
I'm done being invisible.
It's time to move on.
A single dance sets my new reality into motion, and I welcome it. After all, Cooper Townsend is perfect. He's kind, sexy, and attentive--everything a girl could want.
I thought I got it right this time.
That my heart could mend, and I would be happy.
Apparently, some things really are just too hard to walk away from.
Say I'm Yours book summary coming soon..
Corinne Michaels brings the town of Bell Buckle, Tenn alive again with the story of Trent Hennington and Grace Morley. The last Hennington son to find love, except he's had his love for 20 years and has been afraid to give his heart completely. This book tugs on all the feels. It's frustrating, it's sweet, it's tearful, its emotional and it's loving. Trent and Gracie have such a special relationship. They love each other but Trent won't commit and after 20 years, Grace decides that she has to move on. Maybe Trent isn't her Mr Right after all. Cooper Townsend, Trent's friend and her best friend's brother thinks he maybe her Mr. Right. But can Grace's heart really move on when she has given it to Trent? When Grace decides to give Cooper a chance, will it be the wake up call that Trent needs to see that the only woman he has only ever loved and who really gets him is really leaving him for good? While trying to get Trent and Gracie on the same page, the whole gang is ever present and meddling. A small town is where everyone knows everybody's business. The whole gang adds a special warmth to the story that makes it even more sentimental and special. I will say that this story is so much more than Trent finally seeing the light. There are pivotal moments that will trigger all your emotions. Be prepared to laugh, cry, get mad, get happy and to love. I will say that the direction the author took the story felt very real and genuine. To share with you would be to spoil the beautiful, frustrating, emotional story that is Say I'm Yours. I love Bell Buckle, the author's characters and her very sweet and and moving words. 55
"But the thing is, I have been missing you for a long time. I have been alone even when you are here" Can love survive the walls of fear? Can love win over self doubt? When is enough enough? When do you walk away so that you can live? Corinne Michaels' does it again. She weaves a story that takes your heart on an amazing journey. I laughed, I swooned, I cried, I shook my kindle in anger...and then I did it all over again. 55
Sometimes it takes what seems like a lifetime for the stars to align in 2 people's lives... This book is truly a beautiful love story. He's loved her since she was just a girl and she's loved him since he was just a boy. But that doesn't always guarantee an easy road. This book has got it all! Love, hate, joy, sorrow, STEAM and all the angst!!! We are sent on a outstanding and emotional journey. This is a gripping second chance romance you don't want to miss. Corrine Michaels writing pulls you in by all your feels and never lets go. 55
OH Corinne Michaels keeps creating the best dang country boys and of course another Hennington brother has won my heart!! I read & LOVED the previous two books, was swooned away by Zack and Wyatt Hennington and have been anticipating big brooding brother Trent for some time. Trent is the oldest of the brothers, he's also seems to be the hardest to crack being set in his ways with no changing in sight which makes you want to see his walls crumble even more. Trent has owned Grace Rooney's heart for as long as she can remember and she's been working on making his heart her own over all these years but in her words "He's the man that cuts me with the thorns that are wrapped around his heart." Sometimes when your pushed to limit of your own heart you have to let go in order to move on. And sometimes to remove thorns from around the heart you have to show the owner of said heart that opening their heart is what it takes to keep from losing a love that is worth fighting for, that showing action always speaks louder than words, and sometimes it takes you moving on with someone else to kick their heart into gear LOL!! Say I'm Yours gets you with all the feels, with the intense push & pull of Trent and Grace with some sweet Cooper thrown in the mix (listen up Ms. Michaels, I NEED more Cooper!!), with the down home country love that just draws you in and makes you feel like you are a part of the family!! Loved, Loved, Loved and hope to get more books about these lovable characters and their little town of Bell Buckle!!! 55
Trent Hennington, oldest of the Hennington brothers. Gorgeous, cocky sheriff of the town of Bell Buckle, Tennessee. On again, off again boyfriend of Grace Rooney. Trent and Grace have been dancing the same dance for the past 20 years. But for whatever reason, Trent won't make a commitment. I based my assumptions about him on what I gleaned in the first two books, but honestly he took me by complete surprise when I read his story. Say I'm Yours is a standalone romance that can be read without having read the first two books in the series. Corinne gives us plenty of background on what has been happening in Grace and Trent's lives for the past 20 something years. It's considered a second chance romance novel, but it's completely different than the normal trope of a second chance at love. You'll understand what I mean when you read it, I'm not saying any more than that. Corinne once again with these freaking Hennington brothers, puts our hearts through the wringer. Trent and Grace's story was not anything like what I imagined it would be. There are a ton of different emotions throughout the story, from happiness and sad, laughter and sorrow, anger and despair, angst and even plenty of humor. You will run the gamut and be exhausted by the end, but the journey is completely worth it. We get Corinne's trademark character traits in her heroine - Grace is quirky, snarky, a little insecure but a lot strong too, with a heart of gold. And Trent? Well, one minute you want to hug him hard, the next you want to throttle him. I don't know what happened along the way with raising the three Hennington brothers, but each one of them were bound and determined to follow the hardest path possible before they each figured out how to pull their heads out of their asses. Even with having a strong role model like their daddy, Rhett, Trent stumbled and tripped his way through plenty of this story. Having read the first two books, I absolutely loved seeing the entire cast of characters throughout this story. Presley and Angie were a great support system for Grace. Trent's brothers Zach and Wyatt did their best to impart wisdom on him, but come on, we're talking about men here, and as Grace's mama tells her, men are idiots. That seems to be the opinion of all of the meddling mama's in Bell Buckle, who provide plenty of humor and motherly wisdom throughout the story. We get to see Presley's brother Cooper quite a bit in this book too, I can't wait for y'all to read what his part in the storyline is. I'm going on record now in saying that I have a super soft spot in my heart for Cooper Townsend. I am sad to see the last of the Hennington brothers' stories come to an end. But my heart is full and I have a big goofy grin on my face!! If Corinne wanted to keep on writing about these guys, I would be perfectly okay with that. Maybe we'll get Cooper's story sometime in the future? 55
Once again Corinne builds you up then rips your heart out only to put it back together again. Trent and Grace have been a long time coming but Trent is too stubborn to actually commit. Grace is pretty much over it but no matter how hard she tries to move on her heart belongs to him. Loved the cameo in this book as well. There is a lot of heartache in this. I wanted to be sad but I was happy at the same time. Also the bomb drop was pretty crazy, never saw that coming. Great book! 55
After reading Zack and Wyatt's story, I knew Trent's story was going to be phenomenal. Corinne has a gift for writing. She has us on an emotional roller coaster but it is worth the ride. Trent's story will pull at your emotions. 55
Michaels does it again...gives you another Hennington boy to know and love. This book is considered a standalone, but do yourself the favor of getting to know the Hennington family from the beginning. It will help you understand why Grace and Trent have the relationship they have in this book. Michaels creates Bell Buckle, TN in a way that makes you feel like you are living there with her characters. The use of the character's Southern twang is spot on (and I know, 'cause I hear it everyday) and the small town feel is authentic. The angst is there in Grace and Trent's story, but not quite as hard on your heart as the previous stories. And the unsung hero of this book has to be Cooper Townsend. If you love a good romance read where you get invested in the lives of the characters, this ones for you! 55
Can you truly ever get enough of ANY Hennington?? Well reading this book definitely puts that phrase into perspective. WOW!! I'm so in love with Trent right now that I could absolutely burst. It's always one of the ones in the series that you read about, but don't know the full story that grabs you and holds you down when their story is told. Trent did that too me. I laughed more in this book than the others, but I also cried more too. Like sobbing, bawling crying. I can't say anything about what happens, we all know based off the premise of the book that Grace and Trent have their final fall out... But what happens after that makes you feel so much for Trent, and love Grace more than anything, that you can't even fathom them not being together. There are so many twists and turns in this plot, but isn't this what we expect from CM?? It is what makes her writing so amazing. I have more of my heart invested in Trent right now, because who doesn't love a story where the man is so in love that it breaks him. Those are the type of stories that get me every time. I promised a review without spoilers, so I can't give you any, but this book is a 100 percent must read. If I could give more than 5***** stars, I would because it is that great, and I promise you'll love it too. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC given to me by the author, and it's one of the best things I've done all year. Congrats on an outstanding book. 55
Once again I'm blown away. I didn't want this to end. You live this story. You feel every emotion. I couldn't stop reading. Trent Hennington you may be my favorite! Shhh we won't tell the others ;) #fightforwhatsyours Absolutely must read. 55
