E L James revisits the world of Fifty Shades with a deeper and darker take on the love story that has enthralled millions of readers around the globe.
Their scorching, sensual affair ended in heartbreak and recrimination, but Christian Grey cannot get Anastasia Steele out of his mind, or his blood. Determined to win her back, he tries to suppress his darkest desires and his need for complete control, and to love Ana on her own terms.
But the horrors of his childhood still haunt him, and Ana’s scheming boss, Jack Hyde, clearly wants her for himself. Can Christian’s confidant and therapist, Dr. Flynn, help him face down his demons? Or will the possessiveness of Elena, his seducer, and the deranged devotion of Leila, his former submissive, drag Christian down into the past?
And if Christian does win Ana back, can a man so dark and damaged ever hope to keep her?
Darker may refer to: Darker (album), a 1997 album by C-Tec Darker, a novel by Simon Clark Darker (video game), a 1995 computer game by Psygnosis Darker (magazine), a Russian horror webzine..
Reading this book just makes me want to go back an re-read 50 Shades Darker, then re-read this one again. I hope and pray there will be a Freed and it will be out soon! Getting to hear the story from Christian’s perspective is literally, EVERYTHING. Thank you E.L. James!! 55
Couldn't put it down! 55
A wonderful story line. Sensually told. Please f/up with his side of book 3.....PLEASE!!! 55
As usual I’m pleased with Christians perspective. I love the clips that “open” the doors on the situations which otherwise Were closed in fifty shades.truly hope to see that his perspective is written for the third book. 55
I can’t wait till Freed is written I’m dying to read it!!! 55
I thought fifty shades darker was my favorite until I read darker ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love christians point of view it was the best can’t wait for number three 💋💋💋 55
I can’t wait for the next book... 55
Darker is better than the first book in this series about Christian. His character has more dimension and depth. A truly good read. 55
I have read all the book in the Fifty Shades of Gray series and they are all amazing. Once I started I couldn’t put them down. I hope there will be more. 55
Wow ❤️❤️ 55
I can’t seem to get enough of theses books. They are captivating and l just love reading them over and over. Thank you. Ms. James. 55
I love this franchise, reading Christian’s perspective has put a whole different twist to this story. I so can’t wait for Freed, the movie, and the next book! 55
Love the story from Christian perspective. I’m hoping for the next one. I can only imagine how he feels with the wedding and Ana being kidnapped and the babies 55
Love it! Love it! Love it! And can’t wait to read the last book, is going to be hard to top this trilogy ❤️❤️❤️ 55
I’m not sure how I keep getting sucked into reading another book of this series. The writing is terrible and in desperate need of a thesaurus. This “new” book has maybe 10% new content from the original 50 Shades Darker. Don’t waste your money, there is 0 character development and it actually makes you less fond of the lead characters. 15
I loved every minute. I truly enjoy hearing both sides of the love story. It truly takes two and the story telling is tremendous! I can appreciate every detail and look forward to hopefully read “Freed” from Christian’s point of view as well!! 55
I love reading In Christian’s POV. Can’t wait for last installment Freed. 55
Not sure how to start but oh how i loved this book! E.L James did an amazing job! I could not stop reading it! In Ana’s version this was also my favorite book, and now reading Christians point of view is wonderful!! I really loved the she showed us more of Christians childhood and his time with Elena, you get to understand more why he is the way he is, with Ana, with his family and himself. I really enjoyed reading every chapter, but i was really looking forward to a few parts, like the part where Grace find out the Elena taught him how to F**k, or when Grace talks to Christian about it and scolds him! Or the Charlie Tango crash! And lets not forget the S*x scenes! They where the same but at the same time different because now its him telling them! God there’s so much i could go on! Lol but overall, great book would totally recommend and i’ll re read it again! Also i really hope E.L James writes Fifty Shades Freed in Christians point of view!! That would be amazing!! 55
