Simply enough, it’s not for everyone. Yes, she is talking about herself throughout the book. She’s telling her story. She’s reminding women that yes they may be thinking that, but they shouldn’t. She reminds women that they can always be better and to keep striving to be their best. If it’s not for you, it’s not. Not everyone likes Diet Coke either. 55

You don’t have to have everything in common with Mrs. Hollis to get something from this book. I don’t want to be an entrepreneur, I don’t have children and I am not sure if I will ever have the desire to run a marathon. That said, I still got something from each chapter; because I applied her processes to MY life, and what I want to accomplish. I think with all personal improvement book, to be beneficial you don’t necessarily need to become that person, but apply the concepts in your path to becoming your best self. I appreciate the up lifting. 55
How many times did I cry when I read this? Clearly you can’t please everyone, but many of us are grateful for this step by step guide to a better YOU! 55
This book is more of the same. Rachel hollis is very sure of herself. But its a false assurance. She basis her “can-do/no fail” attitude off of her ability to “finish the race” “visualize it” more self help garbage. Its unhelpful bc we as humans do fail. And achievements can be stripped away. Then what? Her 90 day challenge wont help. She has no official training. She is too egotistical. And hopefully you will pause before buying tjis. Praying she gives grace to her readers and herself. Praying more she starts to give glory to God for her accomplishments and not herself. 15

I watched Rachel on Impact theory and fell in-love with her and her story. I find her empowering and this book is spot on. I too live under the notion that my decisions had to please others, appease society norm. I think as women, the more we share our “faults” and experiences, we are helping each other . This whole negative, no substance reviews are just tearing us down. 55
