A sexy standalone novel from New York Times and international bestselling author Elle Kennedy!
Everyone says opposites attract. And they must be right, because there’s no logical reason why I’m so drawn to Colin Fitzgerald. I don’t usually go for tattoo-covered, video-gaming, hockey-playing nerd-jocks who think I’m flighty and superficial. His narrow view of me is the first strike against him. It doesn’t help that he’s buddy-buddy with my brother.
And that his best friend has a crush on me.
And that I just moved in with them.
Oh, did I not mention we’re roommates?
I suppose it doesn’t matter. Fitzy has made it clear he’s not interested in me, even though the sparks between us are liable to burn our house down. I’m not the kind of girl who chases after a man, though, and I’m not about to start. I’ve got my hands full dealing with a new school, a sleazy professor, and an uncertain future. So if my sexy brooding roomie wises up and realizes what he’s missing?
He knows where to find me.
The Chase may refer to: ..
So cheesy. It’s drags on and on. I kept skipping like 5 pages at a time and realized I wasn’t missing a thing. It’s hard to enjoy the boy when the main character is so annoying. 15
I normally love Elle, but this book was not one of my favorites. I do like the fact that she tied in issues that college students have with learning disabilities but goodness gracious Summer exhausted me. I was waiting for Fitz’s story, and without spoiling the book for anyone, this book made me not like his character as much as I did the glimpses that we previously had of him. I still can’t wait for Brenna’s story! 25
One of the best modern romances I’ve read to date. I think she taps into many women’s fantasies easily with this book. I love the characters, the romance, the steamy scenes, and couldn’t put it down from start to finish. Really really really great book! 55
Just loved loved this book!!!! 55
Fitz and Summer are an awesome couple. This book had me laughing so many times at the antics throughout the book. Great book waiting for Brenna’s story, but I definitely want more of Fitz and Summer!!!! 55
Loved it! Once I started I couldn’t stop! 55
I read it and i loved the banters and how the story kept going i really loved it. 55
It was so good to go back to Briar University. As the start of a new series, this book had all the same charm as the Off Campus series without relying on past characters to carry the story. The chemistry between Summer and Fitz was great. The banter, the attraction and sexual tension was spot on. It’s honestly one of the best opposites attract stories I’ve read. It was absolutely impossible not to love Summer instantly. She was bubbly and sweet and her struggles struck a chord with me on such a deep level. She’s used to being judged on appearance alone but she strives to change people’s mind while staying true to herself. I just adored her. It didn’t take me long to warm up to Fitzys character at all. The quiet nerd with his love for sports was completely shaken up and caught off guard by Summer. He fought his attraction so hard and in that process pulls some jerk moves, but he completely makes up for it in the long run. This story was sexy and sweet, it put a smile on my face and stirred excitement for future books. Pretty much everything I enjoy in a NA series. 45
I absolutely love this series. Kennedy does not disappoint with The Chase. 55
I’ve read all the books from the series and this was my least favorite. I was excited about the length of the book but a lot of the contents in the story was the characters talking about their projects in their classes which I skipped through. Still a good read just was not as good as the others. 35
